Johnny (Steve Rhyne) works at night as a drag queen named DeeDee Licious. But he hasn't told his new love interest, Ryan, about his nighttime work. When Ryan arrives at Johnny's apartment early for their date, Johnny is stuck in high-heeled red boots with a broken zipper. Desperate to hide his other life, Johnny covers them with a blanket and calls best friend Tanya (who lives upstairs and loves to play a little dress-up, herself) to help out in the hall, pretending to Ryan that he's really meeting the "laundry lady" who has finished cleaning all his underwear. Illana Zauderer Parker plays Tanya.

My favorite tracks are Sondheim's sexy ‘Sooner Or Later’ — it's nice to hear this great song performed by a better singer than the original version — and ‘Since You Stayed Here,’ a gently poignant song which Illana makes sure not to oversing, a nice contrast to what you might expect to hear from a cabaret belter with less confidence or emotional range. ‘Hot In Here’ is a fine addition to any record collection.”
